Your generous donation will be used to provide both pre-departure and in-country training to our volunteers, supplies for our classes, and general support for our programs in eleven countries this summer. Testimonials
“The most important success a volunteer can have in the classroom is exciting his students about learning another language. I regret not having an LE volunteer appear in my life while I was studying French…At its best, the LE program can imbue the study of English with a little life and purpose for students of English. The effect on a child of simply interacting with a native speaker of the language he's learning is immeasurable. It can help make a language real to the child, and instill in him a desire to learn more.”
Jon Kleiman, Hungary/Slovakia 2006 “Learning Enterprises delivers what I consider to be the most effective form of service that Americans can contribute toward the global community: education.” Johnny McCormick, Mexico 2006
