Expanding horizons through global volunteerism
Executive Staff
The Learning Enterprises Executive Staff is a four-person team that works tirelessly to make the LE world go 'round. They lead a team of nearly 150 staff and volunteers, coordinating their efforts in recruiting, training, programming, and daily operations.

Harry Wodehouse, Managing Director

In the summer of 2007, while traipsing around the Slovak-Hungarian border, Harry ran into an old friend from school who just so happened to be amidst his mid-point break with Learning Enterprises! Despite his general state of filth and exhaustion, the volunteers welcomed him into their group for the weekend and got Harry hooked on some of LE's greatest characteristics: creativity, sharing, and keeping it simple and fun!
Harry's first official experience with LE came the next summer, when he volunteered in a tiny, mounatinous village on the island of Mauritius. Inspired by his students, the warmth of the Mauritian people, and the LE mission, Harry decided to spend this past year coordinating another successful program on the "Blessed Island" as the Mauritius Program director. As Managing Director, Harry is looking forward to continuing the incredible success of Learning Enterprises.
Harry is a senior at George Washington University, studying International Affairs, Development, and French Literature. When not working for the cause, Harry can be found performing with GW's student theater community, or living up to his mediocre cooking skills.

Max Lambertson, Director of Programming

Maximilien Lambertson, man of science and of the people, was yearning for an organization that most closely resembled perfection. He found this in LE and his time as a volunteer, Program Director, and now Co-Director of Programming has been unreal.
Max is currently a junior at Georgetown University studying International Politics. He enjoys a nice cool glass of apricot juice and anticipates with boundless trepidation his coming year volunteering for Learning Enterprises.

Francesca Mazzola, Director of Training and Recruiting

Francesca fell in love with LE in 2007 when she experienced the most amazing summer of her life teaching in Hungary and Slovakia. During her time there, she learned how to milk a cow, ride a mechanical bull, and take thermal baths. More importantly however, that summer showed her the amazing impact that she (and college students like her) could have on children around the world, and how those same children could teach her things school never could. Inspired to share this experience, she returned to LE in 2008 as Stanford's Campus Director. In 2009, Francesca served as the Program Director for the Hungary/Slovakia program - an experience she will cherish forever.
Currently Francesca is a senior at Stanford University. She is pursuing a degree in Political Science with minors in Economics and Italian. Although her future-predicting abilities are nothing to brag about, she hopes to continue to work for NGOs like LE after graduation. In the meantime, Francesca hopes to help facilitate LE's most successful year ever!
